Psychedelic Integration
Psychedelic Use Integration Therapy and Coaching
What is the purpose of post-psychedelic use integration therapy and coaching?
I offer therapy and coaching for those who have used psychedelic medicines or substances and want to integrate their experiences with them. I also work with people who are considering using a psychedelic substance but have fears about doing so. I do not work with people while they are using psychedelics.
Many people, including myself, have a deep intuition that there is something profound and almost magical underlying our consciousness, reality, and life itself.
We sense that if we could only tap into that universe of wisdom, we could break free from our limitations and discover who we really are and what we are here for. This spiritual awareness and curiosity can lead us to plant medicines, specifically psychedelics, to help us access the knowledge and wisdom obscured by our conscious minds.
Sometimes, those psychedelic experiences involve a spiritual emergence, a breakthrough in how we see ourselves, interact with other people, and move through this world. However, even those experiences can provoke confusion and uncertainty, causing us to question our identity and purpose in life.
Other times, we can have bad trips—or spiritual emergencies—that leave us feeling fractured, scared, and detached from reality. Spiritual emergences (awakenings) and spiritual emergencies (spiritual crises) are two sides of the same coin. As such, even seemingly negative aspects can have great value when you are able to see them in a broader perspective.
Regardless of your situation, psychedelic integration therapy and coaching is designed to help you process and find value in your experiences, whether they have left you confused, scared, anxious, inspired, ecstatic, or anything else. Working with a psychedelic therapist or coach helps you move from feeling fractured and unsure of yourself (or even what’s real) to feeling whole, balanced, and at peace.
By listening to and learning from your internal wisdom, you can overcome lingering fears about future psychedelic use. You gain a better understanding of yourself and what you value—and you deepen your connection with your spiritual beliefs, other people, and life in general.

What kinds of challenges can psychedelic integration therapy and coaching address?
Each person’s situation and experience with psychedelics is unique, so my approach depends on your goals for your work with me. Oftentimes, I work with people who want to:
- Explore their goals, mental health history, and the risks/benefits of psychedelics to determine if this kind of treatment makes sense for them.
- Treat anxiety, depression, childhood wounds, PTSD, and trauma.
- Process and heal sexual abuse by a facilitator during a previous psychedelic journey.
- Overcome the fear of taking psychedelics again after an experience that went awry.
I also help people who have used psychedelics to:
- Find out if there is life after death and/or overcome existential fears of death and dying.
- Achieve and sustain a certain state of consciousness, learn a spiritual lesson, or find answers to fundamental questions about life, the universe, and everything.
- Gain a different perspective on their lives, spark a spiritual awakening, or simply experience something outside of their “normal” waking consciousness.
What happens in psychedelic therapy and coaching?
My approach to Psychedelic Integration draws from a blend of therapy techniques that help clients work through the root causes of their distress on the deepest level:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy – a form of therapy that can help clients find meaning in their psychedelic journeys while integrating those experiences in a way that aligns with their values and facilitates transformation.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a trauma-informed approach designed to diminish the emotional intensity of negative memories and experiences as well as any critical self-talk.
- Mindfulness practices, breathwork, and other grounding strategies help reduce stress and build greater resilience and self-awareness.
- Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy – a mind-body-spirit form of psychotherapy that helps clients access the wisdom of their unconscious minds to facilitate healing and transformation.
- Somatic Experiencing – a body-focused approach to reduce stress, resolve trauma, and create balance by paying attention to the physical and related emotional responses caused by a negative experience, and working through these using the body’s wisdom.

How effective is psychedelic integration?
Each of the therapy methods and coaching techniques that inspire my work is holistic, body-based, and more effective than traditional talk therapy. They enable people to dive into their unconscious and connect with underlying, challenging emotions and unlock the soul wisdom that is necessary for true healing and growth.
These techniques can even speed up the healing process by helping clients gain profound insight into themselves and what they want and need to feel happy and fulfilled. My job is to guide people toward their internal wisdom. I assist my clients with processing their emotions and the beliefs underlying them. This in turn results in the integration of psychedelic experiences into one’s life. My clients learn what aspects of their psychedelic experiences had value as they are also able to integrate the difficult, unfulfulling aspects of their journeys.
How can psychedelic psychotherapy and coaching help in the long run?
People sometimes go into a psychedelic journey with a longing to find enlightenment, connect with the divine, or experience something that transcends their understanding of reality. So part of this process is about connecting with and integrating the aspects of the psychedelic journey that you value.
I facilitate that by helping you examine your core values and how those values fit in with your psychedelic experiences. Using the wisdom of the body makes all the difference in finding relief, healing, and personal growth.
My combination of Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, and coaching, can help you fully process and integrate your psychedelic experiences in a way that deepens your sense of inner peace, self-awareness, self-trust, and self-love. Over time, these qualities will begin to be reflected in your relationships with others and with life.
There is a way to make sense of it all
Most people who utilize plant medicines have had challenging or scary psychedelic experiences along the way. Having those less-than-ideal journeys can cause one to question everything in their lives. But these experiences offer beautiful lessons when they are processed and integrated.
Every experience with psychedelic plant medicine has something to offer, just like every dream one has at night provides something meaningful for that person, even if scary and uncomfortable. Working with a psychedelic therapist or a life coach gives you a way to make sense of it all—the good, the bad, and the confusing—so you can enjoy the spiritual lessons your experience has to offer.
What kind of exposure to psychedelics have I had as your therapist and coach?
In addition to my own experience with plant medicines, I’ve participated in trainings in Psychedelic Integration and worked actively with clients navigating this topic since 2017. I myself experienced a spiritual emergence, the sense of oneness with everything, and the dissolution of the egoic mind.
As with so many of my clients, I have the sense that something greater exists just beyond our grasp—I too have heard my soul whisper its wisdom. I also know, however, that understanding and integrating that spiritual manifestation is difficult at best. After all, we’re still stuck in these human bodies fettered by corporeal limitations and preoccupied by endless worldly distractions.
That’s why this service is so beneficial and necessary. The psychedelic integration therapy and coaching I offer provide you with a space where you can feel safe and grounded. It enables you to dive deep into yourself looking for insight, healing, and answers that can fundamentally change your life.
Let me help you find meaning and a greater sense of peace
I believe that psychedelics have the potential to be powerful healers and teachers, but our experiences with plant medicines need to be processed and integrated to obtain the greatest benefits. With my personal history utilizing plant medicines, my specialized training, and the transformative experiences of my clients, I know that psychedelics can unlock the wisdom of our souls.
It’s my job to help you interpret and assimilate that wisdom into your day-to-day life. If you would like to learn more about my Psychedelic Integration therapy and coaching services, please call (707) 301-0252 or use my contact page to schedule your free, 15 to 20-minute consultation.
